Close the Freezer Door!

Wow, it is cold and icy here. I talked to Mom today and it was 79 in Harlingen. I'm glad Daddy is where it is nice and warm. They have already cancelled school for tomorrow so I get to sleep in. Yea!

OU Baby.

This is the picture I was trying to put on the last post but clicked on a different one. Is he not beautiful? I can't wait for Carson Cole to get here!!!!!

It is freezing in here!

Actually, it is freezing outside. It was 50 yesterday and I think it was in the 40's this morning. It is now 27 and falling. Tomorrow will be a balmy 22 after a low tonight of 14. I'm ready for Clint to get home and build a fire.
I'm going to try and post a picture of the whole gang, minus a couple that didn't make it to Christmas this year. I also have one of Baby Charlie if I can remember how to do it.

Happy New Year!!!

To re-cap 2008:
Victoria graduated from OSU, Zach and Wyatt from high school, Lindsay got a big surprise (Baby Charlie), We got a big surprise (Baby Carson Cole due in March) Clint got a job with the homeless project, I took a new job teaching multi-handicapped kids for Sapulpa schools, Leann changed from teaching kindergarten to 2nd grade, Jan and Paul got their pool/backyard finished (it is gorgeous!), John and Rhonda moved to a bigger house after 22 years at the house in Jenks, Ethan got even taller, Cole's hair got longer, Arin is still at OU, Whitney is getting paid back for every ornery thing she ever did (Zoey is a HOOT!) Beth finished a lot of sewing projects and started having us over for dinner on Thursday nights, Clint took over most of the cooking at our house, Mom and Daddy are still the best example of love and commitment you'll ever find, and we started a new tradition of collecting money at our family Christmas get-together to donate to John 3:16 Mission in Corey's name. I'm sure I'm forgetting many things, but those are the highlights. Oh ya, Leann and Phil look AWESOME. They have lost a lot of weight and I'm very jealous. Although, I did get her 'fat' clothes.......

Congrats Rebels!

Well, we went to Dallas for the game. Clint and I had a great drive down. We left about 7:30 on New Year's Day (Happy Birthday Leann) and got to Dallas about 11:30. There is no traffic on the morning after New Year's Eve parties, imagine that:) We got to visit with Charles, Alex and baby Hunter (I'm soooooo ready to be a grandma) while we were watching the parade, eating dinner and hanging out at the West End. We also got to see Dan and Kelly, some of Clint's friends from law school and their baby Dylan. I got a lot of baby sugars that I know won't last until March and Carson Cole, but it helps. The game was one of the best football games I've ever seen. Even better, Ole Miss WON!!!!! The crowd was so much fun. I'd never been to a bowl game (not counting Jenks/Union Backyard Bowl and the Egg Bowl) so it was definitely an experience. It was the last game in the old stadium. Uncle Lynn and Clint's cousing David were there from Jackson. It was good to see them and yell at another Ole Miss game together. I yelled until I have no voice left. It will be a quiet day around here.
Lindsay is supposed to email pictures from Christmas. As soon as I get them, I'll add them to the blog since I know how now. (I will hopefully remember:)
