Mississippi is a long way away

Well, we just got home (yes, it is 5:30 in the morning) from a trip to Oxford. It started with a singing in Little Rock on Saturday night. Clint and several members of the Garnett praise team went to sing at Jerome's church (former praise and worship minister at Garnett). There were several other groups there too. The group called Purpose was fantastic! We are definitely going to get a CD of them. Then, after the singing, we went on to Oxford. We pulled in about 1:30 or so. Clint and I slept in and then went to lunch with Uncle David, Aunt Carolyn and Lelia. The guy who started McAlister's Deli has a place there. Right now I'm too tired to remember the name of it (it is not McAlisters). We saw MamaKin at the Care Center. She looks about the same, but really didn't seem very responsive. It was a huge shock from the last time I saw her before she fell. She finally recognized Lelia and Clint, but I don't think she figured out who I was.
On the way to Little Rock, we stopped by to see my family from Mountainburg. They were having a yard sale in Butch's company parking lot. He showed Clint and Lelia his office that looks like a wildlife museum. I can say that I have actually seen a javalina. Of course, it was dead and stuffed, but it counts. I'm looking forward to the family reunion in June.
I have new pictures of Carson Cole, but don't have them downloaded yet and I'm too tired right now. Maybe later today.
